About Us

Divisional Training Centre (HIPA), Panchkula is a unit of Haryana Institute of Public Administration, Gurugram an Apex Training Institute of the State. It caters to the training needs of the staff working in the Haryana Civil Secretariat, all Directorates, Boards & Corporations located at Chandigarh/Panchkula and all districts offices in the State namely Panchkula, Ambala, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra and Kaithal. This Centre functions under the administrative control of Director General HIPA, Gurugram.

This Centre is located in the close proximity of State capital Chandigarh. The Centre functions from its own four storey building duly equipped with excellent infrastructural facilities consisting of spacious conference hall with a capacity of 80 persons, 2 classrooms (capacity 45 persons each), one small classroom (capacity 20 persons) equipped with modern training aids, computer lab (capacity 30 persons) with wi-fi system, and a library having books on Service, Administrative behavior science subjects and other literary books and a reading hall fitted with ACs. The Library offers membership to Haryana Govt. employees and pensioners who agree to pay the membership fees and compliance of certain conditions. This centre has an excellent spacious and duly equipped cafeteria with sitting capacity of 50 persons.

The Centre has well equipped facilities for the stay of 21 persons at a time. All the rooms are well furnished with AC facilities. It is duly guarded 24 hours by security guards. The office has all modern facilities required for the ease of doing.

To come up to the expectations of the State Training policy i.e. training for all under the guidance of head office HIPA, this Centre vows to develop strength and upgrade qualities of professionalism, responsiveness, integrity and courage amongst civil servants, and endeavour to promote excellence and good governance in the State of Haryana through training and updated guidance aimed at sharpening the skills, enhancing knowledge and bringing attitudinal change in the cutting edge level employees to cope with the changing scenario emerging due to fast development in all spheres.

OBJECTIVE

The core objective of the Centre under the administrative control of Directorate of HIPA Gurugram is to improve the administrative ability and competence of the officers/officials of the state with a view to enhance overall administrative efficiency of the state and its responsiveness to the needs of the public.
